Overview
This team is really something man! A gutsy win against a solid team, and this week’s responses reflected as much positivity as we have seen so far. We are going to start to really get tested in these final games, and I cannot wait to see how the team stacks up. Below is a temperature check on Bears Fans who responded to a weekly survey.

Mood meter
With another win, and this one coming against a solid team, this week’s mood meter was overwhelmingly positive, with less concern and frustration than previous wins. Most fans noted that they were either proud, hopeful, or fired up. One respondent felt frustrated and another respondent felt confused.
If I were to pick a mood from these options, it would probably be fired up. This team has given us a lot to cheer for and celebrate this year, and I feel like we still have so much untapped potential. I want to shock the world this Friday!

Fans currently have high confidence in both the coach and QB, with Ben getting a slightly higher rating than Caleb. I am really excited to see how much better Caleb can get by the end of this season.
Team trend
This chart looks pretty similar to last week, where most of the respondents feel the bears are trending up, while a few think they are staying the same. Like I said last week, I can understand arguments for both sides. Since this was another close win and we have yet to play the most complete game, you could say we are staying the same.
After this week’s game though, I would vote trending up. I think the team improved in their red zone offense and battled through so many injuries to beat a solid team.
Favorite (or not so favorite) moment of the game!
I decided to allow for memorable moments from the game, good OR bad. The moments of the game that were mentioned the most were the Nashon Wright interception, the Brisker tip at the end, and Calebs fumble that turned into a touchdown.
A couple other moments that were mentioned were the sacks by Sweat, Calebs TD pass to DJ where he was wide open, and Caleb’s ability to fight back after the fumble. A couple other responses are listed below:

There were two players that stood out to fans this week, and that was Montez Sweat and Caleb Williams. Montez is such a great name to see on this list, as we need him to keep up this good play. Still, there were four other players that received notes, which just shows you how much these players are stepping up. The Nashon Wright interception was such an amazing play. Ozzy Trapilo was very impressive, and that may be a great sign going forward.
Playoff hopes?
Most respondents feel confident about the Bears playoff hopes at this moment. There was a pretty big change from last week’s temperature check. Last week, 45% of fans gave the Bears a 51%-75% chance to make the playoffs. This week, that number jumped to 68%, as you can see in the chart above. The Bears only need to go .500 the rest of the way to get themselves into a playoff spot.
Temperature check on the season
This week, several fans mentioned that this Bears season has felt unexpected, and the team is exceeding expectations. Even for myself, who leans towards the hopeful and optimistic side, I didn’t really expect this. Fans also said that the team is giving us hope, excitement, and fun, which I also agree with. Here are a couple of quotes:

What do you want to tell the Bears?!
Bears fans were sending messages of encouragement to the team, telling them to keep grinding and keep up the progress. Some fans were also showing love to Ben Johnson and the coaching. There was a Good Better Best reference, as well as a random shot thrown at Arlington Heights and the McCaskey family. Here are a few responses:

Final note
I really am so grateful for this team right now, it’s crazy. I know we are entering a stretch where we will really find out how high we can fly, but so far this season has been so fun. I cannot wait to see how we stack up in this game on Friday. We are getting reinforcements back too, and boy, do we need some!
