Week 11 Report – Chicago Bears VS. Minnesota Vikings (11/16/2025)

Responses: 31

Overview
Another week, another cardiac Bears performance! This time, it came in a much-needed divisional win! After this game, Bears fans are still feeling stressed, but the percentage of pride and joy is continuing to increase while the skepticism decreases (not completely of course, there is still more to prove). Confidence in the coach and QB continues to increase. Something that is really cool is the variance and the number of different responses given when asking about players that stood out, or favorite moments in the game. There are so many to choose from recently, and it rocks!

Satisfaction with the team

Confidence tracker (Coach and QB)

Average confidence rating of Ben Johnson: 4.78 (out of 5)
Last week’s rating: 4.14

Average confidence rating of Caleb Williams: 4.19 (out of 5)
Last week’s score: 4.14 (out of 5)

Fans are continuing to feel good about both the coach and QB! Both of their ratings have improved since last week, especially Ben Johnson.

Team trend

Fans take on where the Bears are heading:

Trending up: 83.9%
Trending down: 0%
Staying the same: 16.1%

Bears fans are mostly feeling that the team is trending up right now! On one hand, the Bears are continuing to get better in various ways every week. However, they are still not putting together a complete game and winning decisively so you could argue that they are staying the same in that regard. I would lean towards trending up.

Favorite moment of the game!
Honestly, it’s really cool how many different responses I receive for favorite moments of the game, it’s awesome. The two most frequently cited moments were the kickoff return by Duvernay and Cairo’s game winner. Here are some other responses:

  • “Caleb checking down to Kmet several times”
  • Nashon Wright’s interception and his emotional moment. Both interceptions were mentioned several times.
  • “…but I’m in love with Loveland! He’s the man. I really liked that play down the middle of the field where he picked up a first down when we needed it most”.
  • QB scrambles
  • “DJ Moore knee catch”

What player stood out the most?!?!

I really love how many different responses came in for this question, its crazy cool. Cairo is a great option, to hit the game winner and bounce back from the earlier miss in the process. Loveland has been showing up way more consistently, which is great to see. Even Cole Kmet had a great game, stiff arming and head-butting people into oblivion. The players with the most votes were Cairo Santos, D’Andre Swift, Caleb Williams, and Colston Loveland.

Playoff hopes?
Below are the percentage of responses that fell within a probability range. Fans were asked to put a percentage on the Bears playoff hopes:

  • 0% – 25% : 1/31 respondents (3.2%)
  • 26% – 50% : 8/31 respondents (25.8%)
  • 51% – 75% : 14/31 respondents (45.2%)
  • 76%-100% : 8/31 respondents (25.8%)

Fans seem to have a relatively good feeling about the Bears making it to the playoffs. About 70% of respondents said that the team has a 50% chance or better to make the playoffs.

Temperature check on the season
Fans were asked to give a quick temperature check on how they are feeling about the season. The theme of anxiety and taking years off our lives continued, but this divisional win seemed to reduce the skepticism in this particular question compared to last week. There were several prominent emotions expressed in these responses, such as stress, joy and pride. Here are some responses from fans:

  • “40 years I’ve waited for you to not disappoint me”.
  • “I’m proud to be a Bears fan”.
  • “May singlehandedly cause my premature death of cardiac arrest at 17”.
  • “I love them but they’ve been dancing on a knife’s edge”.
  • “Let’s Fucking Go!”

What do you want to tell the Bears?!

The messages from Bears fans were mostly positive, encouraging, and hilarious. Several fans want to tell the receivers to fix the drops and catch these passes. There were thanks given to the team and to Ben Johnson specifically for turning the team around. One fan wanted Ryan Poles to sign Khalen Saunders, he should have listened to you! Here are some fan responses:

  • “Seeing our boys win gives me life. The locker room talks are inspiring”.
  • “Good, Better, Best!” ; “Good. Better. BEST”.
  • “I would like to personally slap some sense into the defense and tell them to stop blundering on fourth down”.
  • “Patience but Ben was an amazing hire. We needed this, George.”
  • “THANK YOU BEN JOHNSON FOR ALWAYS PUTTING THIS TEAM IN A PLACE TO WIN”.
  • “Message for anyone associated with the Bears: I grew up a Bears fan in the Chicago area but stopped following football when I was a teenager. While living in NY for a few years, the Bills helped me rediscover my love of football, and this year I moved back to Illinois and have been following the Bears. Watching this team every week this year has been one of the most thrilling and fulfilling experiences of my life. I went to my first NFL game when you played the Giants and could not have asked for a better first game experience. Rooting for this team has put me in touch with a long neglected part of myself and it is hard for me to describe how much the experience of this season has meant for me personally and spiritually 🐻⬇️”.

I thought this last quote was really cool to see and thank you to that fan for sharing! And congrats on going to your first game, I am glad the Bears are helping you and your spirit! Truly a great thing to hear. On that note, thank you to EVERYONE who participated this week, we got double the number of responses from last week and I want to keep growing this thing so that we get as much of a representation for Bears fans as possible.

I apologize for posting this week’s report so late, and I hope you get to go over it before this week’s game against the Steelers. I absolutely cannot wait for this game. Bring on Karen Rodgers and Bear Down!
