Week 13 Report – Chicago Bears VS. Philadelphia Eagles (11/28/25; Bears 24, Eagles 15)

Responses: 53

Overview

Before I talk anything Bears, we got up to 53 responses this week and I can’t say how much I appreciate the participation! I am extremely grateful!

Now, what a freaking win, what a statement! We were the more physical team playing against the former super bowl champs, in their house! And they did it by two scores! This must be one of the team’s best wins in recent history. Based on this week’s responses, the Bears fans are feeling prideful and cautiously optimistic!

Satisfaction with the teams performance
1=Extremely dissatisfied, 5=Extremely satisfied

Average satisfaction rating: 4.57
Last week’s rating: 4.11

Mood meter

Wooooooooooo! This team has us fired up man! Half of the respondents chose that exact feeling to describe their mood. Most of the other respondents said they were either hopeful or proud, which I agree with as well! One person said they were optimistic, and another said they were confident! How often have we been able to feel confident as Bears fans?! I personally find myself feeling all these emotions I just mentioned!

Confidence tracker (Coach & QB)
Fans were asked to rate the confidence they had in both the coach and QB, on a scale from 1-5 (with 5 being extremely confident).

Average confidence rating of Ben Johnson: 4.79
Last week’s rating: 4.58

Average confidence rating of Caleb Williams: 4.11
Last week’s rating: 4.10

Confidence in Ben Johnson continues to be high and is going up. Confidence in Caleb is generally high, but there is much more variance in the responses when it comes to him.

Team trend

Favorite (or not so favorite) moment of the game!
Per usual, there were many moments sighted as being a favorite, as well as a couple of disappointing moments. The two moments that were mentioned the most were Nashon Wright’s turnover and Caleb’s beautiful TD pass to Kmet. Below are some other moments that were mentioned:

  • The running game was definitely mentioned! Specifically, Monangai got a few mentions for his efforts.
  • Ben Johnson’s post-game speech got a mention! I agree, and I watched that like five times in a row. I absolutely love this team right now.
  • Some people mentioned the simple fact of beating the eagles in general was a great moment, and I agree! One of the best wins I have ever witnessed, which I know is not saying too much but still!
  • Kevin Byard’s interception got some love as well!
  • One fan pointed out the fact that the Bears drew the Eagles offsides. My favorite thing about that play was Caleb’s celebration afterwards too.

Below are a few responses to the question about most notable moment:

  • “Kevin byards interception against the eagles. It sent a message about the defense that despite its holes, it still manages to create big moments like this”
  • “Nahson stealing that tush push ball! Greenbay lobbies to get the play banned. Us? We pull up the bootstraps and take what’s ours!”
  • “They won by more than 3 points”.
  • “No specific moment DURING the game. But I bet I’ll remember the feeling of realizing what the Bears had just done for a very long time. Surprise and just, like, gratitude! I was all in on Ben and Caleb at the beginning of the season but now I actually know ALL the players which makes it more exciting, interesting, and meaningful”

Kyle Monangai got a lot of love this week, and for good reason! You know what I love to see though? Our fans showing love to the O-line! I love that we have an O-line to show love to! What is this feeling?! People also showed love to the RB duo as a pair, a real thunder and lightning! We also have a Drew Dalman sighting!

Playoff hopes?

The number of respondents that now think the Bears have a 76-100% chance of making the playoffs, increased significantly from last week. Last week, that number was 15.8% of respondents. We are number 1 in the NFC right now, so if we don’t make the playoffs at this point that would be pretty disappointing.

Temperature check on the season
After a win like this, you know Bears fans are fired up, and that was reflected in these responses! A lot of fans noted that this team is exceeding expectations, and they were feeling proud, and encouraged about the future. Below are some responses we received:

  • “Total change of culture!”
  • “Nothing short of stunned”
  • “Magnificently unexpected & so thrilled and optimistic on our future”
  • “It’s awesome to look forward to games instead of being afraid!”
  • “I went into the season predicting a record of 8-9. We have already surpassed that in 12 games. This team shows enormous potential for growth even with all of the success.”
  • “We finally have a team”
  • “i’m the most cautiously optimistic i’ve ever felt about this team”

What do you want to tell the Bears?
Bears fans were sharing praise for Ben Johnson and the coaching staff! There was a huge sense of pride throughout these responses this week. There were also some messages for Caleb Williams, both in the form of critique and praise. Below are some responses from this week when fans were asked to share a message for the Bears:

  • “BJ — I have been so positive on your arrival but this is evening shocking your most ardent supporters.”
  • “Nahshon, what you are doing in spite of everything this season is nothing short of incredible. You started this year as the sixth string cornerback, and now you are leading the league in takeaways. That is special”.
  • “We’re proud of the turnaround and just keep it rocking!”
  • “Thank you guys for working as hard as y’all do! It’s inspiring seeing this system come together like it has on such a short notice. Seeing the social media posts with the post game speeches has been next level, and its great to feel included like that as a lifelong fan who lives in Arizona”.
  • “you’ve restored my faith in this organization in just a few months. Keep pushing and keeping working hard, it’s paying off!!”
  • “Ben Johnson, thank you for choosing us”.
  • “Caleb, keep doing what you’re doing. No shame in being a game manager if it gets you to the next level. And I’m sure you’ll get to the next level. Prove all the doubters wrong when you break thru that ‘high ceiling’”.

Final note
What a freaking win. Like I said earlier, this had to be one of the team’s best wins in recent history. To win a game by two scores on the road against the super bowl champs was a huge statement. The way it was done too, just the physicality of it was so impressive. This week brought pride to even higher levels than before, and it feels good right now.

I want to say thank you again for your participation and for checking out this report! Screw the Packers lets go get another one!

Bear Down!
